I started the business after identifying a gap in the market. Being a chilli lover, I got frustrated from eating the bland chilli served
as a condiment by most restaurants. They provided the heat, but lacked the avour, so I set about to create a chilli condiment
so tasty and versatile, that will give customers value of their money.
Chilladiddo started frommy home kitchen in 2010 as a hobby. In 2012 I registered it as a formal entity and from preparing our
condiments in a home kitchenwemoved to an accredited (outsourced) factory on a contract packing arrangement.
We are currently conducting the bulk of our sales through food-shows and food-markets, in Johannesburg, with plans to
expand outside Johannesburg. Slowly wewill position ourselves onmore shelves of the leading retailers in the country.
