The Amakhala Emoyeni Community Fund Trusts established by Cennergi Service, in partnership with The Hope Factory and the Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA), launched a Small Business Support Programme based in Bedford and Cookhouse in February 2023. This programme provided accredited entrepreneurial training and Household Chemical Manufacturing Training to 16 start-up business owners.
In 2024, 14 of the start-ups continued their business journey with additional coaching and operational investment support. All participants received assistance with back-office accounting support which included: updated CIPC, SARS Tax Pins, and BBBEE Affidavits/Certificates.
