SAICA Enterprise Development offers Financial Excellence to entrepreneurs through the accounting profession. We believe that creating financially savvy entrepreneurs will help businesses grow sustainably, access funding successfully and ultimately employ more people.
Our vision is to play an active role in economic transformation in South Africa, through advancing the sustainable growth of entrepreneurial Black businesses. We work together with all designations of SAICA (CA(SA); AGA(SA) and AT(SA) to achieve our objectives.

- Enhance the value of the SAICA profession by mobilizing its contribution to SME
development through developing Financial Excellence in entrepreneurs
- Deliver excellent B-BBEE solutions aligned to client expectations
- Create customised programmes that make business sense and a Return on Investment.
- Develop Financial Excellence in entrepreneurs that leads to tangible economic impact.
PROGRAMMES
We seek to create Financial Excellence in all our SME programmes through:
- Affordable accounting and back office support services for SMEs done by graduate Accounting Technicians AT(SA) (This is overseen by SAICA's Small and Medium Accounting Practices and offers these Practices the opportunity to attract new quality accounting graduates and create a pipeline of new clients.)
- Financial Boot Camps for the SMEs
- Financial Coaching: One on one sessions with SMEs
SAICA Enterprise Development also offers Customised Enterprise and Supplier Development projects in line with B-BBEE, as well as impactful Socio-Economic Development projects through The Hope Factory.
