Thabizolo Communications and Electronics
Thabizolo Communications and Electronics CC was registered in 2005. Sole member Fanyana Msimango started his business
journey five years earlier doing backroom cellular phone repairs at his parent’s house in Katlehong township. Using his love for
gadgets and training as an electronics technician, Fanyana ran a business called Fan Cell Sound as an after-hours hobby.
However, as the business grew, he resigned from his job at Transnet to run the business on a full-time basis. In 2007 another
opportunity arose and the business repositioned itself as a supplier of electronic security guardmonitoring systems.
